Greenland Contractors (GC) is responsible for the daily operations and maintenance of Thule Air Base which is located in the northwestern region of Greenland.
Thule Air Base is comparable to a village community making GC responsible for providing everything needed to make everyday life possible. The services provided by GC include an airport, fire department, community activity center, fitness and sports center, restaurant, and the list goes on.
Other support functions such as infrastructure, power production, health services, accommodations, recreational activities, etc. are also carried out by GC.
The US Air Force is in charge of all military activities.

GC has two operational divisions: Operations and Services; and a number of support functions: Engineering, Supply, Program Management, Human Resources, IT, Administration & Accounting, and Health Services.
